Providing accurate information for members is a key challenge for a club the size of Terrigal. There are a number of communication tools used to convey information, including:

Club Newsletter – Blues News is the Terrigal SLSC e-newsletter and is the primary source of communication with members. It is emailed weekly during the season (to all members who have provided their email addresses with registration) and fortnightly during the “off-season”.

Club members are encouraged to submit stories and photos for Blues, as well as request patrol substitutions. Email

Club Facebook – Terrigal SLSC, Terrigal Nippers and Terrigal Surf Club Functions are our Facebook sites. A reminder to all members that Terrigal SLSC abides by the SLSA Code of Conduct in all matters, including social media use.

Noticeboard – Lots of information is posted on the club noticeboards, halfway up the stairs leading to the tower. Competition entry information is usually located here.

SMS Alerts – These are posted through Surfguard (our membership database) and are only used for last minute changes and updates as required.

Lifesaving Online - As a financial member you can access your own details online through  You can make changes to your personal information as well as look at any awards you hold and when they expire. In addition you will be able to renew and pay for your membership online. We encourage all members to be responsible for keeping your details current as this information is retained in our database and used to allocate uniforms, for email communications, SMS communications and a range of other uses.

The best way to find out any information about our club is to ask someone, especially a Director. You know the old saying – “if you don’t ask you don’t get!” so please don’t be shy about offering your suggestions and comments, especially to someone who can do something to improve yours, and other club members experience.
